Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MOVE Business Chamber representative-finder tool and related community features (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service lets you look up your Virginia state and congressional representatives by entering your address, receive those results by email, and join your district's community group. The Service is provided by MOVE Business Chamber to support civic engagement in Virginia.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you or someone who has authorized you to submit it.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or another person's information without authorization.
• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service except as expressly permitted.

By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to receive the representative-results email and related communications from MOVE about civic engagement and community activities. You may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or emailing us.

The Service relies on third-party providers (including the U.S. Census Bureau, Google Maps, and WhatsApp/Meta) and may link to third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Representative and district information is generated from public data sources and is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free, and it should not be relied upon as legal or official guidance. Verify details with official government sources where accuracy matters.

The Service, including its design, content, and branding, is owned by MOVE Business Chamber and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our permission.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MOVE Business Chamber and its representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
